Too specific
By colintheriot
On my fourth day of t-shirt making adventures, I’ve had one of my images flagged as “questionable” by CafePress. I called them and they were super helpful. Apparently, my drawing of the Nintendo controller is a possible violation of Nintendo Corp’s Trade Dress. I can get Nintendo’s permission to sell the image, or I can modify it to be less identifiable as a Nintendo controller. I opt for B, but these kind of things are good to know, since I intend to make a lot more of these.
So, I’ve disabled the store links on the “Wasted Youth” image until I can modify it and re-submit to CafePress again. I’d apologize for the inconvenience, but since I’m not actively promoting the site yet, I doubt it’s a problem.
Lesson learned. Moving on…
