As stated on the top left of the site, the concept for this blog is pretty simple. I’ll elaborate some, and hopefully explain away any questions you may have.
Basically, I draw or collage or otherwise create a new image and post it on this site. I do that at least once, every single day. The images have searchable descriptions and are tagged and categorized, hopefully making it easy for you to find other images in the archive that you will enjoy.
In addition, images I posted yesterday (and earlier) are available on the bottom of the homepage, and in the right hand column of every page. There, you will also find an archive of earlier drawings sorted by date.
You can also rate the images you like, letting me (and your fellow visitors) know what you like the best. Top 5 “Highest rated” and “Most rated” images are available on the right side of the site as well.
I also encourage you share the images you like with others online. I’ve provided a couple of ways to help make this easier. You can post a link the drawing to several different social bookmarking sites, using the icons on the homepage and on each drawing’s own page. You can also email a link to the drawing to anyone whose email address you know.
You can even post the drawing itself in your myspace page, forum post, web site, or whatever (as long as it’s for personal, educational, or non-profit purposes). Just copy the code in the textbox on the homepage or on each drawing’s own page. Then, paste it wherever you like. If you don’t like the code in that box, feel free to use your own, as long as you link back to DailyShirts.com next to where you place the image.
Maybe you like an image so much, you wish you had it on some sort of merchandise. Via CafePress, I offer all my images on a variety of shirts - lots of colors, lots of styles. I can also put images on stuff like buttons, prints, mousepads, mugs… all kinds of stuff (let me know if you’re interested in stuff other than shirts). Purchase of the shirts helps me pay for this website and hopefully one day, will support my ballin’ lifestyle. Plus you get something cool to have out there in the real world.
